We’ve had enough. Thoughts and prayers are not enough to honor the victims of gun violence. What we need now is action.
On March 24, 2018, students will rally in Washington D.C. and in communities across the country to demand action from our leaders.
Join students and allies in the March For Our Lives, as we fight for an America that is free from gun violence. Students will gather at Harriet Island starting at 9am.
Families are welcome to march. Because Harriet Island will be crowded, we encourage groups of adults to go straight to the Capitol or join along the March route north of the river to welcome students as they arrive. Students will begin marching at 9:30am and arrive at the Capitol around 10. There will be informal speeches at the Capitol beginning at 10. The official program at the Capitol will begin at 11.
Rally program Student speakers will outline their demands for safer gun laws and safer schools. Student leaders, clubs, youth groups, church groups, elected officials, teacher and veteran groups are all welcome.
